Delete your account

You can delete your Poshumim account yourself — in the app or on the website; you don't need to install the app for it.

How to delete it

• On the website: sign in at app.poshum.im → User settings (the gear at the bottom left) → My account → Delete account.
• In the app (iPhone, Android): Settings → Delete account.
• By email: if you can't sign in, write to [contact address, e.g. privacy@poshum.im] from the email address of the account — we'll delete it manually.

What happens after the request

• for 14 days the account waits for deletion — you can cancel by simply signing in;
• then your profile (name, username, email, avatar, banner, status), password and sessions, settings, push notification tokens, friends and blocks are deleted permanently;
• your messages in communities and conversations stay with the other people, shown as from "Deleted user"; you can delete individual messages yourself before deleting the account;
• communities you own have to be handed over to another member or deleted first;
• crash reports are not linked to your account and are kept for 60 days.
