Terms of use
Draft. Before the app is published in the stores, the service owner reviews this text and fills in the highlighted places.
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of the Poshumim service [legal name, tax number]. By creating an account you accept them. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
1. Your account
- You must be at least [16] years old to use the service.
- Use a working email address: confirmation and recovery codes are sent to it.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens in your account. Turn on two-factor authentication.
2. Objectionable behavior and content
We have zero tolerance for objectionable and illegal content. It is forbidden to post or do:
- harassment, threats, insults, calls for violence or self-harm;
- hate speech based on race, nationality, religion, gender, orientation or other traits;
- any sexual material involving minors — such accounts are deleted and reported to law enforcement;
- explicit material without a warning or where it is not expected;
- spam, fraud, malware and phishing links;
- other people’s personal data (addresses, phone numbers, documents);
- copyright infringement and impersonation;
- any other content prohibited by the laws of the Russian Federation.
3. Reports, blocking and moderation
- Any message can be reported (long-press → Report); the author does not learn who reported it.
- Any user can be blocked (from their profile or the friends list): they can no longer message or call you in direct messages or send you friend requests.
- We review reports within 24 hours, remove objectionable content and ban the accounts of those who post it.
- Server owners and moderators look after their own servers (delete messages, kick and ban members), which does not release members from these terms.
4. Your content
You keep the rights to what you post. You allow us to store, process and show that content to the people you addressed it to — only as far as the service needs to work.
5. Paid features
The Premium subscription gives extra features [terms, price, payment and refunds]. In the iOS app, digital purchases go through the App Store under Apple’s rules.
6. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running without interruption but cannot guarantee that, and we are not responsible for content posted by users. Limitations of liability apply to the extent permitted by law.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time: in the app (Settings → Delete account) or at app.poshum.im. We may restrict or delete accounts that break these terms.
8. Changes and contact
We will announce significant changes in advance in the app or by email. Questions and claims: [contact address]. These terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation.
